What She Says:
When I saw Rachel from The Pink Peonies' post featuring this metallic heel from J CREW I just knew that I must have those pumps! Then I linked to the heel and found out that they were $255. Wah-waaaah. Thankfully I was able to find what I think is a suitable compromise from DSW online. The pair I feature above are $60. This heel will be my spring/summer neutral - able to be paired with almost any color. Given that these heels will work with both work and weekend attire, the cost per wear ratio will make even Joe proud!
What He Says:
Apparently there is an unwritten rule of fashion blogging that says you can only promote super-expensive options. OK, maybe $255 isn't super-expensive (I just bought myself a $149 pair of Cole-Haans...and once splurged on a pair of Louboutins for the missus' birthday), but it is definitely "what are you thinking?" expensive. And for silver? The same color of cold steel, dental fillings, or Maxwell's hammer? Yes, let's go with the $60 option. Besides, I never thought of silver as neutral. I assumed it was just another color that goes with black...or something that this guy keeps searching for.

You know you're killing me, right?! So cute!!! Ugh, my bank account hates your blog, but I love it!!! I could also justify these because they would shift into winter as well! And if I can keep them nice, they will hopefully still be fashionable next year too!
